Veda Kay

Hi! My name is Neha and I create art under the name Veda Kay Art. I mindlessly doodled through classes in high school and somehow, years later, I am still drawing. My work has evolved from those classroom doodles to intricate, intentional pieces that take on a life of their own. I prefer pen and paper, but I am definitely guilty of doodling on any surface I can get my hands on (food included!). Honestly, I love doodling because there are no fancy materials necessary, so everyone can do it!

Drawing has been my hobby for as long as I remember, and over the years it’s become an emotional crutch for me. There’s no better feeling than a sharpened pencil on a crisp white sheet of paper when my anxiety is running uncontrolled, my depression separates me from the world, or my narcolepsy leaves me exhausted. Creative energy, like most things in life, come in waves to me, and currently I’m on a high so I’ve recently started doing commissioned work while that lasts.

Kushag Patel

I have a background as an independent filmmaker and citing a broad array of influences from cinema, literature and music, I have since the last decade turned my hand to visual arts...incorporating photography and digital manipulation, alongside experiments with recycled scrap materials, chemical alterations and digital printing. Beyond visual impact, my multimedia artworks are an experimentation of form and genre. Each piece is manipulated to exude a sense of spontaneity in a fast-paced modern world, whilst remaining grounded to the thought that all things eventually return back to the earth or turn to dust, as sands of time.

Nikita Yogaraj

I'm a Tamil-American artist and printmaker based in Baltimore, and I specialize in linocut block prints with botanical and portrait subject matter. Drawn from graphic storytelling and the tradition of protest posters, I often pair my subjects with text as social justice commentary and particularly how history has determined the present - to show what has been, is, and what can be.
